Ranger D
As with the 430D, the "D" in Ranger D relates to the diesel generator power module.
The Harrington Merlin generator has been adapted for use in all ELSTONS D model units, both the 430 Range and the Ranger. These amendments include:
- Remote fuel tank
- Side filler cap
- Low fuel protection
- Improved cooling system
The changes made to the previous Merlin set-up have not changed it's performance in anyway, instead they have been made to improve access to the generator as well as ensuring the end user can maintain it with greater ease with same side service access.
The Ranger D is also fitted with a super silent pack which, as well as giving battery powered lighting and warm air as in the 430 range, provides hot water as well. The super silent pack has double the battery bank of a standard silent pack.
