D Model 
‘D’ series relates to the power module and diesel generator. Two generators are available, the Harrington Merlin
and the Stephil SE6000D, both units are driven by the Yanmor L100 air cooled engine and have ratings of 4.8Kw.
Generators are enclosed with in acoustic fibreglass housing with a roof top exhaust stack. The generator is
concealed behind a 2 twin 5 lever locked drawbridge and the generators can be easily maintained when withdrawn, minimising downtime.
All units have a remote cab start with one hour timer this is especially useful when fitted with silent pack as it
enables the generator to recharge the battery.
- Running costs of a diesel generator approx 50p per litre.
- 1.5 litres on full load per hour = 13.6 litres 8 hour day.
The above is typically halved when a silent pack is fitted!
Silent Pack
When fitted with a silent pack, the D model offers the operator the choice to enjoy their time spent using the welfare unit without the sound of a generator running whilst still having lightng and heating.
When chosing with the merlin generator, a combined fuel tank for both the generator and the Webasto heating system is fitted.
When the generator is running, it recharges the battery automatically and battery status is shown on the cab mounted indicator.
