Natural Power Systems is an associate company of ELSTONS which officially opened for business in January 2008.
Our product aim and possible applications have stemmed from the Directors’ knowledge and interest in the environmental niche of the construction industry, however Natural Power hope to branch off into many new and exciting areas.
The Product: WISPA-PAC™
WISPA-PAC is a hybrid power module based on a deep cycle battery bank to supply portable building or welfare cabins. These modules can be constantly recharged by a) solar panels on the cabin roof, b) back up fuel cell run by methanol or, c) mains plug in charge facility.
The WISPA-PAC is fitted with inverters converting DC to AC power enabling.
An innovative hybrid solution has been created in order to offer an alternative to diesel generators through combining Solar Power Panels with a Smart Fuel Cell. This hybrid solution has the ability to generate the required energy to run a portable 12 berth welfare cabin by providing it with heating, hot water, enough energy to use a microwave, a kettle, power a laptop and a phone charger. The only output of the product is water and a low level of carbon dioxide, so low it is said to be the equivalent of a child breathing. So not only is the product new and exciting it also provides the marketplace with an ideal solution to power generation in this ever environmentally conscious society. As you may guess from the name of the product the noise omitted is minimal (the equivalent to that of a computer). The maintenance of the WISPA-PAC™ is also minimal; the only fuel required is a 28 litre container of Methanol which is built into the power module and a small tank of diesel for the heating system.
The WISPA-PAC is now available for supply within the ELSTONS 430 BSC model.
